Guidelines
For the registration of biocides, we conduct efficacy tests with product groups PT 18 (insecticides, acaricides, products against other arthropods) and PT 19 (repellents and attractants) according to international standards and guidelines. If no guidelines are available for certain products or applications, we work according to test protocols based on current scientific literature.
International organisations defining guidelines and standards are e.g.:
- American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM)
- American Type Culture Collection (ATTCC)
- European Chemicals Agency (ECHA)
- United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- World Health Organization (WHO)
- Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
