Mites
We provide efficacy tests of acaricides and repellents, taking into account current standards and specifications on house dust mites (Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus) and other mite species (on request). If required, we carry out residual tests on various materials such as tiles, carpet, wool, parquet and other surfaces. We test textile fabrics (carpets/functional clothing) with an anti-mite finish or corresponding impregnation for effectiveness according to the current guidelines of the American Association of Textile Colorists and Chemists (AATCC)
Our test methods at a glance:
- Testing of textile materials (carpets/functional clothing)
- Knock-down effect
- Testing of acaricides
- Direct spray test
- Residual effect
- Testing of repellents
- Efficacy testing on humans according to OPPTS 810.3700.
Detailed statistical evaluations are prepared according to the research question, e.g. a survival time analysis according to Kaplan-Meier on the time course of a knock-down effect.
