Current research projects

Insect Services takes part in three research projects which are government-financed. In the field of plant protection, we are involved in projects aimed at developing new monitoring and control methods against different psyllid species and against the spotted wing drosophila, Drosophila suzukii. In the second project we are engaged in the development of a novel biological trap against ticks. Furthermore, we carry out experiments which are based on questions of general public, e. g. the survival of ticks in human living areas.
