Efficacy evaluation using human volunteers

Tests using human volunteers are ideally suited for evaluating the effectiveness of products and product application methods. Tests on human volunteers are only carried out for products that are safe to use. We only use ticks from our own cultures, which are guaranteed to be free of borreliosis and TBE viruses. Because of our many years of documented experience working with ticks we can guarantee that all our test ticks are in the appropriate physiological state for such tests.

We are able to perform all common tick related test procedures. Figures 1 and 2 show examples of product performance tests according to the EPA and the Stiftung Warentest protocols.
